LA JOLLA, California (Press Release)–A rally to call for the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit from Gazan captivity on the fourth anniversary of his kidnaping will be staged from 5 to 6 p.m., Sunday, June 27, at Congregation Adat Yeshurun, 8625 La Jolla Scenic Drive.
Organized by the San Diego Israel Coalition, the rally is expected to include the display of U.S. and Israeli flags, participants dressed in blue and white, and signs calling attention to Shalit’s plight. Participants have been urged by the organizers to carpool to the rally.
