SAN DIEGO — Melanie Rubin of San Diego continues to keep watch for license plates that are intentionally Jewish or which evoke Jewish memories.
“Yanush” could be a Choctaw name, but for people who remember their Middle East history it might refer to Israeli General Yanush Ben Gal, whose 7th Brigade held off the attacking Syrians during the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
