The big thing in view for the lodge now is the forthcoming Father and Child’s night being planned for the evening of May 9th. Chairmen of the affair, Sam Bennett and Herb Reder, have promised an outstanding affair and are expecting all you fathers with their children. Danny Bramer and his channel 10 kiddie entertainment will provide a delightful evening.
A big fund raising card party is being planned for the 29th of May, and according to chairman Harry Wax, this will be a large affair.
Our sincere thanks to ever working Morrie Krauss who did such a magnificent job taking over the collections of pledges from the B’nai B’rith members for the Fund.
Our senior member George Grossmeyer is ill at the Frazer Hall Hospital, and would appreciate any thoughtfulness. Also on the sick list is our erstwhile Jake Janowsky.
Jack Spatz is gratefully donating a Gruen or Bulova watch to the member who is responsible for signing up the most new members for the year. He is also deeply concerned over the delinquent members who have not yet paid their 1955 dues. Remember, membership is everybody’s business.
