SAN DIEGO (Press Release) – The Jewish Community Foundation’s Vice President of Philanthropy, Charlene Seidle, was one of 120 candidates selected from a worldwide applicant pool to participate in a young Jewish innovators conference in Israel conducted by the ROI initiative.
“Charlene is an outstanding professional and a perfect match for the highly regarded ROI Summit,” said Marjory Kaplan, CEO and President of the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego, who holds the Miriam and Jerome Katzin Presidential Chair. “I am confident that her contributions to the ROI community will be significant.”
ROI was established in 2005 and stands for “return on investment”. ROI is a partnership between Taglit-Birthright Israel, the Israel Democracy Institute and the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Foundation.
The ROI Summit will take place in Israel from June 12 to June 16, 2011. ROI invites only the most talented and creative Jewish professionals to attend the summit from across the globe. The Summit brings together Jewish leaders in their 20s and 30s who are at the forefront of local, global and virtual initiatives.
The four-day gathering encourages participants to share ideas, bolster their professional skills and develop new projects aimed at expanding the horizons of their respective Jewish communities around the globe.
