SAN DIEGO (Press Release)– The Jewish Federation of San Diego County recently nominated Jan Tuttleman for the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) Jewish Community Hero of the Year. The winning candidate will receive a $25,000 grant, and national recognition. Tuttleman was nominated due to her tireless work and inspirational leadership, and her dedication to engaging and empowering women in philanthropy. For years, Tuttleman has been a mainstay in the San Diego Jewish community, and is continuing to contribute and give despite her recent brain cancer diagnosis. Her nomination reflects the strength, hope and dedication she embodies in the community.
