SAN DIEGO─ The Justice Department filed a suit against North Carolina’s law that mandates people use the bathroom commensurate with the gender on their birth certificates.  Although this ultimately will be decided by a Federal judge, transgender groups hope that the case can be heard by a jury of their pee-ers.

Trying to make amends for his derogatory comments about Megyn Kelly and to prove that he is not a sexist, Donald Trump apologized to the reporter for calling her a “bimbo” and gave her a year’s supply of tampons.

The Australian Olympic team has been issued condoms whose manufacturer claims are Zika-proof.  The question is whether they work by preventing the virus from being transmitted by sperm or whether they have been soaked in DEET.

For the duration of the summer Olympics, Budweiser is changing its name to America.  Insisting that the company adhere to truthful advertising claims, the Federal Trade Commission has warned consumers that the new label does not imply that America ever was or will be great again.

James Clapper, director of national intelligence, revealed that there is evidence that foreign governments have hacked into the servers of the presidential candidates.  He assured his audience, however, that there’s little indication of intelligence on any of them.
