SAN DIEGO-To coincide with the release of the Senate version of Trumpcare, the makers of the game Clue have issued an updated version: “The Mystery of Who Killed Obamacare.” What follows is a list of the suspects, the weapons they used, and the rooms in which the murder occurred.

A conspiracy of twenty-four state governors who pulled the plug on federal Medicare expansion while it was struggling to survive as an infant in the political maternity ward.

Mick Mulvaney with an axe in the Office of Management and Budget.

Mitch McConnell by suffocating it a shroud of secrecy in a Senate cloakroom.

Big Pharma who hired assassins to poison it in a lobby.
*
Big health insurance companies who abetted the homicide by raising the bounty on health care premiums from their headquarters.
*
President Trump with speeches inciting voters and Congress to repeal it from the stump and the Oval Office.
