SAN DIEGO (Press Release) — Elliott Nahmias, regional political director for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), will discuss the status of American support for Israel at a speech following at 6:15 p.m. buffet dinner Wednesday, June 19, sponsored by the Beth Israel Men’s Club at Congregation Beth Israel, 9001 Towne Center Drive.

Nahmias has been with AIPAC since 2011, and currently serves as the Political Director for the Southern Pacific Region. He works with 49 Congressional Districts and 10 Senate offices and oversees the broader regions of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Hawaii. He is responsible for mobilization efforts, engaging key stakeholders, and meeting with candidates for Congress to brief them on issues related to the US-Israel relationship. Nahmias regularly speaks on key events taking place in the Middle East as well as the dynamics of the US political system.
