Wonderful list, Laurie. I also recommend Tale of Love and Darkness (dir. Natalie Portman; Netflix, YouTube, Google Play, iTunes etc) and Rage and Glory (dir. Avi Nesher; Amazon Prime and Kanopy). Both deal with 1948 – the first with the effect on Amos Oz and his family, and the second on the Stern Gang.
