Satire: My Kind of Campaign

Melody: “My Kind of Town”

Laurie Baron

By Laurie Baron, Ph.D

Anarchic town, Portland is.
Chaos abounds, Portland is.
When citizens demonstrate,
The state must intimidate.

Crime ridden town, Chicago is.
Too black and brown, Chicago is.
Whites must defer to them
Under a lawless Dem.

Send in Bill Barr’s police
To tear gas and bring peace.
Agents in unmarked cars
Arrest and inflict scars.

When the country is stressed
From Covid and unrest.
Exploit the white backlash
Gaining votes from that clash.

Anarchic town, Portland is.
Crime ridden town, Chicago is.
Law and order still works.
Among my MAGA jerks.

It’s my kind of campaign!
