Satire: Covid (to the tune of ‘Fever’)

We don’t know how he caught it?
Was it flying through the air?
Now he’s got the covid,
it didn’t just disappear.

He’s got the covid ‘cause he dissed it.
Covid not wearing a mask.
Covid, from big rallies.
Safety is not much to ask.

Fauci gave us warnings
How to stop the virus spread.
Bleach and light don’t kill it.
Now 200,000 are dead.

He’s got the covid ‘cause he dissed it.
Covid from not wearing a mask.
Covid, from big rallies.
Safety is not much to ask.

Millions have the covid.
Is it any wonder why?
There could have been less covid.
How many more will have to die?

We don’t know how he caught it.
Was it flying through the air.
Now he’s got the covid, it didn’t just disappear.

He’s got the covid ‘cause he dissed it.
Covid from not wearing a mask.
Covid, from big rallies.
Safety is not much to ask.

  1. New Zealand does not require anybody to wear Masks for covid and never has. We are all on level one now after we beat the outbreak in Auckland that started about August 6. We do not have social distancing requirements.
