SAN DIEGO (Press Release) — Heidi Gantwerk, Interim President & CEO of the Jewish Federation of San Diego County, and Jack Maizel, Board Chair of the Federation, today issued the following announcement regarding an upcoming memorial service for former Federation CEO Michael Jeser, who died July 24:

In observance of the conclusion of Sheloshim (the 30-day mourning period) for our beloved friend and leader, Michael Jeser z”l, we invite you to join together with us and the Jeser family in a special community memorial service.
The service will be held on Thursday, August 26 at 10:00am. It will take place at Congregation Beth Am, located at 5050 Del Mar Heights Road, San Diego.
Adhering to Covid-19 mandates, masks must be worn at Congregation Beth Am.
