Kayla Globerson Chosen for Zionist Leadership Academy

SAN DIEGO (Press Release) — Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF-USA) San Diego is pleased to announce that local JNFuture President and Community Campaign Chair, Kayla Globerson, has been accepted into the World Zionist Organization’s prestigious Zionist Leadership Academy.

A joint initiative of JNF and the World Zionist Organization, the Zionist Leadership Academy is an intensive 10-month program for young professionals widely influential within their respective Jewish communities designed to train and develop a cohesive team of talented Zionist leaders who can play a significant role in their communities.

“The Zionist Leadership Academy is an opportunity for like-minded leaders such as myself to come together as parts of a whole,” said Globerson. “Separately, we represent different countries, different languages, and even celebrate different Jewish cultures and customs. But together, we are Zionists. We each carry a light inside ourselves, a desire to be change agents and bridge builders for future generations to come.”

The Zionist Leadership Academy covers various topics including: fundraising and philanthropic initiatives; diplomacy and Hasbara training; ecology and climate change; marketing, communications, and new media; team and project management; leadership training; Israeli current events; and much more. According to Globerson, her time with JNF-USA and JNFuture has been instrumental in preparing her for this.

“Whether it has been attending JNF-USA National Conferences, serving on a Task Force or multiple committees, or traveling to Israel on the JNFuture Leadership Institute Mission trip in July 2021, JNF-USA has offered no shortage of opportunities for me to emerge as an influential leader,” she said. “I have planted my roots not only in the San Diego Jewish community but across the nation as well. I look forward to the privilege of representing San Diego as their newly elected JNFuture President, learning from and growing with other pioneers across the world, as we carry on the Jewish legacy that has been entrusted to us.”
