TOPEKA, Kan. — Kansas Republican leaders rejected comparisons of COVID-19 vaccine requirements to the Holocaust Friday after a former Kansas City, Kansas, mayoral candidate donned a yellow star to testify on the Legislature’s plans to resist federal rules. Two statements, posted to social media by Senate President Ty Masterson and Speaker of the House Ron Ryckman, come two weeks after Rep. Brenda Landwehr, a Republican, invoked the Holocaust twice while discussing COVID-19 requirements and agreeing with similar statements made by a Wichita union leader. The comments last month were immediately…
Don’t worry, Kansas is not the only place where covid vaccine comparisons are being made. In the weekending Nov 12th it had been happened in New Zealand. People who refuse to take the shots will find life difficult here. Unvaccinated teachers are now out of work. Also they can’t get a haircut or go to a cafe, Bar or restaurant, or go to a Gym, concert or a show in or out doors. Plus other things. That’s the law now. Other occupations now under the same law include nurses and doctors, police, armed forces, St Johns Ambulance staff. All school staff including coachs, Managers of sports teams and other groups and parents who accompany school groups on trips away have to be vaccinated.
There was a march on parliament in Wellington on NOV 9 by anti vaxers and anti everything else you can think off including anti Semitism and anti Israel protesters. They were allowed up to the steps of parliaments buildings but unlike Jan 6 in Washington not an inch further. Hundreds of police were protecting the buildings. There have been other protests in other cities too. Since the beginning of covid (Feb 21 2020) we have only had 35 deaths up to today and a total of 2900 cases. So I don’t have any sympathy to those who refuse to get vaccinated.
