Congregation Beth Israel to Preview San Diego International Jewish Film Festival

SAN DIEGO (Press Release) — On Tuesday, January 25, from 7-8 p.m., the Congregation Beth Israel Men’s Club will preview films of the 32nd San Diego International Jewish Film Festival (SDIJFF), with commentary by Linda Levine.

The mission of the SDIJFF is to offer outstanding world cinema that promotes awareness, appreciation and pride in the diversity of the Jewish people to attendees of the community at large. Festival programs aim to educate and illuminate through evocative, independent fiction and documentary films that portray the Jewish experience from current to historic global perspectives.

The 32nd Annual SDIJFF features 30 films and TV shows, presented both in person at the David & Dorothea Garfield Theatre at the Lawrence Family JCC and virtually. The festival runs from February 9-20. All films will be available virtually beginning on February 10, with the exception of Ask Dr. Ruth, which will be screened at the JCC on February 9 only.
