Trump’s Lament

(Tune: You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away)

By Laurie Baron

I’m accused, so abused.
Once again a martyr.
DOJ discredits me,
Makes my next run harder.

How can they even try
They know I always win?
Rigging votes to keep me out.
Soon I’ll be back in.

Hey, I should have hid the files away!
Hey, I should have hid the files away!

In my home agents search.
Planting what they want.
I can see them sneer at me
During this witch hunt.

How could they say to me
These are classified?
Keeping them was my right.
Security denied.

Hey, I should have hid the files away!
Hey, I should have hid the files away!

Hillary was even worse.
I am never bad.
Lock her up and not me.
Send the files to Vlad.

This is why I declare
There must be some corrections.
I will end the FBI.
Along with free elections.

Hey, I should have hid my files away!
Hey, I should have hid my files away!
