About 90,000 Israelis protested against planned judicial reforms in front of the Knesset parliament in Jerusalem on Monday, according to media reports – hours after the Israeli president warned of a social breakdown in the country. “We are only moments away from a clash, perhaps even a violent one,” Herzog warned in a speech on Israeli television on Sunday evening.
