SAN DIEGO — The celebrations for the modern State of Israel’s 75th anniversary continued on Sunday with “75 Years of Coming Home,” a fun-filled day of family activities, music, dance, food, and performances at the House of Israel in the international Village in Balboa Park. The event was co-sponsored by StandWithUs San Diego, Jewish Federation of San Diego, House of Israel, Hillel of San Diego, and The Jewish Agency for Israel’s San Diego ShinShinim.

The event focused on Israel as the indigenous home of the Jewish people and sharing the unique melting pot of Israeli culture with the San Diego community. There were informational booths detailing the 3,000-year-history of the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland, Israel’s cultural and religious diversity, Israeli music and dance, and Israeli cuisine. Israeli singer-songwriter Danny Robas performed at the event.
