SAN DIEGO — James Maslow, actor, singer, member of Big Time Rush, and San Diego native, recently visited Israel for a five-day trip to bear witness firsthand to the devastation of October 7 and the ongoing war.
He had the opportunity to speak with survivors and witnesses of the events, as well as engage with various individuals and hear their stories including visiting a massacred village near the Gaza border, meeting with civilian heroes who fought to protect their homes, hearing from an IDF soldier about her experiences fighting Hamas, and volunteering with families who had been evacuated from their homes in the South.
Maslow’s visit was not only a personal journey of understanding, but also an opportunity for him to share his experiences and insights with others around the world through social media. By immersing himself in the stories and lives of the people affected, Maslow contributed to the ongoing dialogue about peace and understanding in the region.
