The Republican Jewish Coalition released the following statement in response to Speaker Mike Johnson’s announced GOP-led support bill for Israel, spearheaded by Rep. Ken Calvert (CA-41). RJC CEO Matt Brooks said: “Today, House Speaker Mike Johnson announced a GOP-led effort to secure $17.6 billion dollars in support for Israel. RJC applauds and fully endorses this GOP-led measure – we will always support aid to Israel. It is urgent and vital that Israel has what it needs to defeat terrorism and defend its citizens. The barbaric atrocities of October 7, 2023 must never happen again.Let there be no doubt: the United States and the Republican Party stand with the Jewish state, now and always.
