SAN DIEGO —
Sky born river, that sky born river
It keeps on raining, the ground’s not draining.
It just keeps storming from global warming, I’ve heard.
It’s atmospheric, that’s why I fear it.
It just gets wetter and won’t get better.
But sky born river, that sky born river, won’t stop.
Southern Cal had lots of sun.
Now it seems like Oregon.
My car floats just like a boat.
My crawl space floods, and my lawn’s a moat.
I’m used to earthquakes, not highways like lakes.
I’m tired of bailing, my sump pump’s failing.
But sky born river, it just keeps pouring on me.
