LA MESA, California – First Responders can’t be thanked enough for putting their lives on the line to save others. It is the true example of either being a mensch or someone practicing tikkun olam daily.
I was outside on Tuesday and started smelling smoke. I went in to check my alerts and my husband even texted me asking if there was a reported fire since he could smell smoke in his building. There was one reported off the I-8 freeway in the Fashion Valley area and people were given evacuation orders in the Linda Vista area. It stayed contained and no structures were damaged but had me worried.
It doesn’t seem like these winds are going away any time soon. I just hope no more fires start and we get rain soon.
