SAN DIEGO (Press Release) — A “Women-Only Seminar” in self-defense will be taught by Krav Maga expert Megan Cohen Berkman from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, at Miramar Martial Arts, 9460 Mira Mesa Blvd,
Berkman is head instructor of KRAVolution, an organization that gives seminars around the world based on krav maga techniques she learned and taught as an instructor in the martial art while serving with the Israel Defense Forces.
“Due to the recent event of attacks on women, we are getting more and more requests at the KRAVolution for effective self-defense,” Berkman says. “Defenders are trained not only against one but several attackers under simulated stress conditions.
“‘Always be a hard target‘, flight or fight, never freeze’–that is the slogan and women learn in this seminar how to defend themselves,” said Berkman.
“Participants learn to recognize dangers, to evade them, and – if the situation escalates – to act correctly and without compromise!”
