Extrapolating the Slogans from the George Floyd Protests

SAN DIEGO−Impressed by the scope of the George Floyd Protests, I have found the slogans on signs carried by demonstrators are applicable to other aspects of American society.  Here’s some examples.

Defund the Trump Campaign: He isn’t the root cause of American racism, but he is its latest manifestation.

I Can’t Breathe: This could either be the slogan for the Green New Deal or for restoring the clean air regulations that the EPA has lifted.

No Justice, No Peace: A goal for the future of American foreign policy.

Black Lives Matter in the Health System, Housing, Job Market, and Social Services Too.

Take a Knee (But Not on Anyone’s Neck): Message for the National Guard and Police.

White Silence Is Violence: For those who think the “Boogaloo Boys”are “fine people.”

Say Their Names: When voting in November, remember the names of all Republican senators and members of the House who didn’t think there were grounds to impeach and remove Donald Trump from office.
