By Elona Baron as Sung to Laurie Baron
On my walks again
Twice a day I’m on my walks again.
My owners’ home confines us like a pen.
I need to get us out of the house again,
On my walks again,
They once worried about me getting fleas.
Now they fret about that damned Covid disease.
I need to get us out of the house again.
Here we go on again.
Through the neighborhood not far away.
Barking at dog friends.
Warning them to keep six feet away.
They take me on my walks again.
And I take them from their sheltering.
I pee and poop on signs for Donald Trump
Hoping he will be thumped.
To get the nation on the road again.

Can’t wait to sing your latest song to my dog, Lulu. Thanks, Laurie. You put a smile on my face.
