Racial profiling still common in America, Leadership Conference reports

WASHINGTON, D.C.  (Press Release)– The Leadership Conference, a coalition of Civil Rights organizations, reports that racial profiling by law enforcement agencies is still common in the United States, and that African-Americans, Hispanics and Muslims are the people most often targeted.   The group’s report, issued Tuesday, demands reforms.  Here is a link.

The report was issued in advance of planned hearings on Thursday by Rep. Peter King (R-New York) into possible radicalization of the Muslim community in the United States.
