  1. The U.S. is far from a neutral or balanced arbitrator of anything involving Israel. To Israelis, left or right, the U.S. has become a political bulldozer pushing dirt on Israel’s survival.

Recently, the 75th anniversary of the U.N. Partition Resolution was remembered by a dramatic permanent memorial in North Netanya visible along the Rt. 2 coastal highway.

More than twenty ambassadors attended, including a full Russian delegation headed by the Ambassador. The U.S. had declined to attend.

I contacted the American Embassy, at the request of the WZO, and was assured the U.S. would not be embarrassed at the memorial program to the central birthing event of Israel. U.S. had supported and still supports her. They would send a representative(s) as the Ambassador was preoccupied.

Three seats were reserved for the U.S. representatives. They never showed up. The Russians gloated.

It was a clear statement of U.S. hostility. It was also a clear statement to Israel that the U.S. must not be trusted.
