Are things getting better?
Last year our party
Was a super spreader.
Celebrating this year
Covid is still here.
But we have the flu and RSV to fear.
A war has transpired.
Ukraine has inspired.
We kindle the lights, in support of its fight.
And the victims who have expired.
It will beat back, the Russian attack.
May Putin soon be retired.
Hanukkah, Oh, Hanukkah,
Are things getting better?
GOP will rule the House.
With 1/6 report shredders.
Passing laws can wait, everything will stop.
Until it probes Hunter Biden’s laptop.
While the crazies are trolling,
The climate is getting worse.
Crisis on the border, right-wing disorder.
Hate speech gets more perverse.
To stay free heed Judah Maccabee.
Protect our nation diverse.
