Zelensky’s Plea

Laurie Baron

(Melody: Thanks for the Memories)

Tanks for our infantry.
And missiles that shoot drones, before they hit our homes.

The weapons you can loan; why not the Iron Dome?
We need jets right now.

Fill up our armories.
To shield our homeland, while there is still time.
For defenses and offenses against Putin’s crimes.

How brutal it’s been.

When it gets wintery.
We freeze when there’s no heat but won’t concede defeat.
And we won’t be beat, we’ll make them retreat.
Help us, right now.

Show solidarity.
Billions and billions to spare civilians.

Protecting our culture and our infrastructure.
We thank you, allies!
