ENCINITAS, California (Press Release) – Seacrest Foundation will present the Women’s Auxiliary 80th Anniversary Ruby Jubilee Gala on Saturday evening, July 8. This is an extraordinarily special event to celebrate 80 years of Seacrest Village Retirement Communities being a lifeline in our community, while honoring Pam Ferris, President and CEO of Seacrest Village, for her 35 years of dedicated leadership.
Co-Chairs Merrill & Robert Haimsohn, Robin & Leo Eisenberg, and Erica & Steven Ratner, along with over 400 guests, will come together for this outdoor celebration at “The Gardens” at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad.
The Ruby Jubilee Gala is sure to be a memorable evening featuring an extraordinary 16-person line up of talented musicians and vocalists from Bonnie Foster Productions who will entertain guests throughout the event. Following the champagne and cocktail reception, guests will be welcomed by our dynamic emcee, retired San Diego reporter, Rory Devine. The 3-course gourmet dinner will be enjoyed with a sunset ocean view and
followed by dancing.
All proceeds from the Ruby Jubilee Gala will support the Seacrest Village Resident Assistance Fund, which provides charitable care for residents who are most in need. The number of seniors requiring help is astounding and growing exponentially. Approximately $2.5 million in charitable care is needed to cover costs of basic expenses such as food, shelter, and physical care.
Guests will have opportunities to deepen their community impact through the Live Auction and Fund-a-Need Program. The Ruby Jubilee Gala will feature a collection of impressive auction items, including:
• A New York Broadway Getaway for four people (includes four tickets to the Broadway production of your choice at a Nederlander theatre in New York, a 3-night stay at an Exclusive Resorts property in Manhattan, roundtrip business-class flights for four from San Diego)
• A private, gourmet, wine-paired dinner for 10 at the acclaimed Pamplemousse Grille, hosted by master chef, Jeffrey Strauss
• A stunning 18 karat white gold ruby and diamond ring with one oval ruby totaling 1.20 carats and thirty-nine diamonds.
