Satire: Barbie the Betrayer

SAN DIEGO — Ted Cruz has condemned the film Barbie for “pushing Chinese propaganda” because its trailer features a map with dashes around areas in the South China Sea which China claims belong to it. Initially, I dismissed his accusation as the ravings of a paranoid reactionary since that characterizes most of the things he says, but then I looked at the movie’s advertising campaign.  The backgrounds and clothes that Barbie and Ken are blatantly pink, a subliminal but subtle indication that beneath the skin the two of them are red. That prompted me to investigate the matter. Like Donald Trump’s researchers search for Barack Obama’s birth certificate, what I found is very suspicious.

I too started with the birth certificates. Everyone thinks Barbie is her first name, but there is evidence that it is also her last name and that she is a descendant of the Nazi Klaus Barbie, the infamous “Butcher of Lyon.” I surmise she dropped the last name to evade arrest by the Allies.  Since the communists were the enemies of the Third Reich, she defected to China to hide her past. Her other cover was becoming an icon of capitalist marketing.  A Jewish woman is credited with inventing Barbie. Thus, there is proof this is a Jewish capitalist/communist conspiracy.

Ken’s real name is Chen. He is not really Barbie’s boyfriend, but a fellow Chinese Agent. After all, these two have been dating for over 40 years. If they had a real relationship, they would be married by now.

Margot Robbie plays Barbie. If you recall, Robbie played Tonya Harding in I, Tonya. Harding hired a thug to cripple her biggest rival in the Olympic women’s figure skating competition, Nancy Kerrigan. Kerrigan recovered sufficiently to win second place at the 1994 Winter Olympics in 1994. The winner, however, was a Russian.  Casting Robbie as Barbie conveys a plan to relegate the United States to a second-class power behind a current enemy.

Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken, was a supporter of Bernie Sanders in 2016. Need I say more about his communist political leanings?

The plot of the movie revolves around Barbie and Ken being expelled from Barbieland for not being perfect enough. Barbieland stands for the United States since it is the most perfect union, at least according to the history textbooks assigned in Florida public schools. The real reason the couple is expelled is because they are obviously pinko spies.

Americans must be wary of innocuous fantasy movies that purport to be escapist entertainment, but really are insidious propaganda. Don’t forget that if it wasn’t for Tinky Winky’s purple coloration, triangle headgear, and purse on Teletubbies, Generation Z wouldn’t have been groomed to be so receptive to gay and non-binary sexual orientations!
