Bipartisan U.S. House Vote Will Advance Ukraine-Israel Aid

The U.S. House voted bipartisanly Friday to advance a foreign aid package, taking a significant step toward transferring aid to Ukraine and Israel and setting up a final vote as early as Saturday. The measure received more support from Democrats, 165, than Republicans, 151. The Democratic votes were required to overcome resistance from Speaker Mike Johnson’s critics, who will most likely strengthen their calls to oust him.
