LONDON–There is a new political phenomenon in the UK called UKIP, or the United Kingdom Independence Party. Those of your readers in the UK will know to what I refer.  Your readers in USA will probably be the very first people in the USA to hear about this political party, and  the ins and outs of British politics will probably be meaningless. Therefore I do not intend to go into the details of its policies here, Nevertheless UKIP is a rapidly rising political force, which may be loosely described  as a very British version of the Tea Party in USA. This is because it is passionate about individual freedom of choice, less government interference, and proud to assert national independence.  I have to admit at this stage, that I have been a member for nearly 10 years, virtually from the party’s birth.

UKIP is making phenomenal strides in opinion polls, and Nigel Farange, its leader, is a powerful public speaker. Last night he held a major public meeting for the Jewish Community in London. The large meeting hall was completely packed, and the reception to his outreach was extremely enthusiastic.  He admires the business and work ethic of the Jews, and supports Israel against threats to its existence.
The readers in the UK will no doubt read a full report by the journalist Marcus Dysch, in the Jewish Chronicle this week.
So your readers now have a “heads up” on this rising British political phenomenon , probably years before the rest of the USA media catch up !
Turning to Egypt, film has been released of Muslim Brotherhood supporters throwing youths off a roof, to their death, because the youths dared disagree with ex-President Morsi. This is not a one off action.  A few years ago when Hamas ejected Fatah from the Gaza Strip, many Fatah members were similarly thrown from roofs to their death.  Remember that Hamas is merely the Gaza branch of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, and always has been. Therefore this horrible practice is typical of the Muslim Brotherhood, and arguably tells you all you need to know about the ex- Muslim Brotherhood administration in Egypt. They were not nice “western” style democrats.
