SAN DIEGO — After several days of the government shutdown, Bain Capital has offered to buy the Federal government, downsize and reorganize it, and outsource most of its services.
Bears in the National Parks have petitioned Congress to reopen the parks. It reads: “You humans are beastly and unbearable. Please restore funding and let the tourists visit the parks so we can scavenge their garbage.”
Conspiracy theorists are accusing President Obama of orchestrating the government shutdown to distract the media from covering the ongoing civil war in Syria. Whether this accusation is true or not does not matter, the point is that it is working.
To counter Iranian President Rouhani’s “charm offensive,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Natanyahu has launched his own “dour defensive” to discredit Rouhani’s sincerity.
In the most recent Kaiser/NBC Poll, around 50 % of Americans said they were worried or confused about the impact of the Affordable Health Care Act. All of the people who fell into this category admitted that they hadn’t read a newspaper, watched television news shows, or searched on the internet for more information about Obama Care in the past three years.
