SAN DIEGO─ Canada’s Sun News Network, often referred to as Fox News North, is closing down its operations.  One media analyst explained that since Canada encompasses part of the Arctic Circle, the country doesn’t need any further polarization.

Rand Paul admitted that he is not really a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, but added that he plays one on television during Senate health care debates.

Continuing its production of appealing recruitment videos, ISIS released a new movie entitled “Fifty Shades of Slay.”  Its tagline is: “All the S without the M.”

Saturday Night Live celebrated its 40th anniversary with a three and a half hour reunion show.  It was the longest and most uneven television program since James Franco and Anne Hathaway hosted the Oscars.  Given their lethargic performances, Eddie Murphy and Chevy Chase should have been profiled in the memorial tribute.

Woodrow Wilson is famous for declaring that World War One was waged to make the world safe for democracy.  In light of the recent wave of terrorist attacks by Islamic extremists in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, the next world war might have to be waged to make the world safe from theocracy.
