SAN DIEGO─ Although Bernie Sanders finally endorsed Hillary Clinton, some of Bernie’s diehard supporters say they will vote for Trump rather than Clinton. My advice to them: after you have felt the Bern; you’re far safer feeling the lukewarm than playing with fire.

Next week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland will overlap on its last two days with San Diego’s Comic Con. When watching television coverage, it may be difficult to distinguish between the two since both feature throngs of people in weird costumes living out their fantasies by idolizing some garish superhero.

A new report indicated that incidents of road rage are increasing in the United States. In the wake of a terrorist driving a truck into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, the report has been updated to emphasize that what’s going on here is minor compared to what happened in France.

In accordance with Donald Trump’s campaign pledge, the Republican Platform calls for building a wall on the Mexican border. Pundits anticipate that the platform might collapse under the weight of this wall.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg regretted her public criticism of Donald Trump after he questioned whether she was losing her faculties. She added that she’s forgotten more than he’ll ever know.
