Fundraising: Garvey Gains on Schiff in California U.S. Senate Race

Between April 1 and June 30, the former L.A. Dodgers and San Diego Padres star outraised his Democratic opponent, Rep. Adam Schiff, by more than $1 million, according to the latest campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission on Monday. WWII ‘Ghost Army’ Feted at ‘Only Yesterday’ Private Museum

The Ghost Army was comprised of 1,100 specially selected men who learned and practiced deception techniques to fool the Germans as to the location of allied forces. While lightly armed, they exposed themselves to great danger.
