SAN DIEGO– Another Jewish-interest license plate spotted by our maven in such matters, Melanie Rubin.  “Dorot” in Hebrew means generations.  It is also the name of a kibbutz in the Sha’ar Hanegev municipality of Israel, with which the Jewish Federation of San Diego has a long standing partnership arrangement.

SAN DIEGO — Our license plate maven, Melanie Rubin, caught a glimpse of this plate on a Prius, which is a hybrid car, while riding through neighboring Orange County.  GR8R Tov, or “greater good” may well refer to using less gasoline, and thus causing less pollution, than a standard automobile.

SAN DIEGO — Melanie Rubin, our Jewish license plate sleuth, found this Yiddish gem.  As she tells it, the driver of this vehicle is really using his or her head.
