Reflections of a Jewish Santa Claus

Every street twinkles with colored lights. Every shop and restaurant is adorned with pine and holly, and carols ring from

‘All The Light We Cannot See’ Illuminates Dark Places

By Eric George Tauber CINCINNATI, Ohio — How do we get through difficult times? How can we find a ray of hope when all we see are shadows? He began socially transitioning (living as a young man) at the age of fourteen and his activism for the trans community got him on Larry King Live at fifteen. Now 28, Ryan is also a grad student at the Pacific School of Religion working on a Master’s in Divinity and Social Transformation. I spoke with Ryan recently via Zoom. [Eric George Tauber]

Tracking the Foot Soldiers of White Supremacy

By Eric George Tauber CINCINNATI, Ohio — Five years ago, on August 11, 2017, in the normally quiet college town of Charlottesville, VA, the peace was disrupted by the “Unite the Right” rally. The rally brought together Neo-Confederates, Neo-Nazis, the Klan, Patriot Front and other “militias” espousing White Supremacism. I don’t think any of us
